JAM at 15

With JAM celebrating its 15th year in 2001, we've been looking back and recalling musicians, clubs and jazz-related events that have made it to our radar screen. In the June/July JAM we ran a synopsis of past "Club Profiles," and in the August/September issue there was a roundup of cover features from 1986 to 2001.

What follows is a rundown of interview subjects from our "Q&A" series that began in December of '93. What a pleasure it has been to talk to each and every one of these fine artists and important boosters of America's music. -- MM
